The Heart Behind 2Kdos

I'm not a therapist.
I'm Sabina Gonzalez, a mum who learned about emotional awareness the hard way.

"Sabina Gonzalez, founder of 2Kdos, emotional awareness for families

I created 2Kdos, named after my two children, my two kiddos, because I believe that what we don't feel, we pass on. And I didn't want to pass on what I was carrying.

This isn't a project built from theory or professional training. It's built from life. From real moments that brought me to my knees, and from what I found when I finally stopped running from them.

I've experienced postpartum depression I hid from everyone. I've held my family together while quietly falling apart inside. I've sat in a hospital with my child, my re-loved patient ♥, and felt a fear that no words can hold. Every single one of those moments taught me something about emotional awareness, how emotions live in the body, how they move through families without words, how the things we don't feel don't disappear. They just find another way out.

That's what moved me to create tools and stories for families. Not a degree. Not a methodology. A life that asked me, over and over, to learn how to feel.

At 2Kdos, everything I create, the book, the pillows, the children's story, is designed to make emotional conversations part of everyday family life. Simple, accessible, and real. Because building emotional intelligence in children starts with adults who are willing to do the work first.

I share this because someone out there might need to hear that they don't have to be perfectly healed to start. You don't need all the answers. You just need the willingness to feel, one moment, one emotion, one breath at a time.

We are all still learning. And that's exactly the right place to begin. Follow our journey on Still Learning.

With love,
